No frost on the pumpkin, yet, but it’s coming. And so is a rocking good time. STORM is at the District 9 A.B.A.T.E.’s Fall Down Ball and as the name implies it’s going to be a falling down good time. Bill Haley (Jr. that is) & The Comets is at The Loft. If you are into 50’s sounds this may be the sleeper show of the week and please note that reservations will be needed to see this show.
There is a little bit of everything on the big stages this time from Rob Zombie to Los Lonely Boys, no culture shock there. While I would love to see Los Lonely Boys my pick of the week for the big stages is going to Styx because they are one of my favorite bands, playing one of my most favorite venues.
Locally I WILL be at The Turning Leaf Fall Festival on Saturday Oct. 13. You can stop by the Walnut Stage and say “Hi.” And you may catch me onstage between 5 and 6 during the Dan & Friends spot dispatching some of my own musical mayhem. Wherever you go, whatever you do, do it with gusto!
Do you want to see your band or venue listed here at WTIM? Send an email to email@example.com with the particulars (at least two weeks in advance) and we’ll get it out there.
