A crowd of Exeter Township children and their parents braved Friday night’s chill to welcome Santa Claus to Boscov’s East.
The high school marching band entertained the crowd until the sirens from Exeter Volunteer Fire Department apparatus were heard and the flashing lights could be seen. That meant the jolly old elf was on his way.
The ladder from Engine 25 took Santa above the crowd before lowering him to the sidewalk for his entrance into Boscov’s, where he’ll hear the wishes of area children for the next few weeks.
