Air Force Airman Carrie A. Holley graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Holley is the daughter of Brandi Holley of South Baumstown Road, Birdsboro.
She is a 2010 graduate of PA Virtual Charter School, Norristown.

Air Force Col. Dana J. James has assumed command of the 60th Medical Operations Squadron at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
James has served in the military for 23 years.
She is the daughter of Doug and Jean Guigley of Main Street, Mohnton, Pa., and mother of Amanda James of Olmsted Drive, Middletown, Pa., and Austin James of Magnolia Complex, Tampa, Fla.
James graduated in 1982 from Governor Mifflin High School, Shillington, Pa., and received a bachelor of science in 1987 from West Chester University, Pa. She also earned a master of arts in 2001 from Wichita State University, Kansas.
