Mifflin Park Elementary School held a mural dedication May 21.
Every student at Mifflin Park created a piece for the mural. Parents helped glaze pieces during the Spring Open House and PTO volunteers helped create and piece together the mural, which is now outside the Mifflin Park cafeteria.
Over the past several months, art teacher Jane Wolfgang and students have been working with Artist in Residence Beverly Leviner. The residency was supported, in part, by Millersville University: South Central PaARTners, an arts-in-education program supported by the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts.
